![]() 1ST ROUND DRAFT ORDER ![]()
1. Detroit Lions |
June 3, 2009 Vince Young has come out and express his desire to start once again, and if the Titans did not think he was ready to start for them, then he would like to start for another franchise. Well Vince you were told by coach Fisher that he will do everything to help you win your starting spot back. Collins is the starter for now, the offense is more effective with him on the helm. If you want your starting spot back then out play Collins and earn your spot. To blame the lack of a passing game when Young was the starter on the lack of good wide receivers is pointless, Collins put up good passing numbers with those same receivers. Young needs to stop crying and start showing that he is an NFL starting QB. Labels: Vince Young

Yahoo! Sports:
The Atlanta Falcons boosted their hopes for another trip to the playoffs by acquiring tight end Tony Gonzalez from the Kansas City Chiefs on Thursday for a draft pick next year.Last year the additions of Matt Ryan and Michael Turner made the Falcons look like a whole new team. They needed the new look and change after what happened with Michael Vick. The team has moved on and now look scary. Matt Ryan showed us a glimpse of what he was capable of as a rookie. Michael Turner showed he wasn't a back up anymore and could run on anyone. Roddy White proved he was an elite receiver. With the addition of one of the greatest tight ends of all time and a draft nearing, the Falcons will mean business next season. Labels: atlanta falcons

“It will be the first year that I haven’t had a football season since my freshman year in high school,” Last nigh I was watching the NFL Network (best channel on TV) and they were re-showing the segment when Madden was on his way to Canton OH to be inducted into the Pro Football Hall Of Fame. He was riding in his bus from California to Ohio attempting to write his life in to one speech. During this he talked about when he was little and after school him and his friends would play in the empty lot next to his house, calling it Madden's lot. Then one day a house got built on his lot and he was sad, he talked about being drafted by the Eagles in the 13th round, and getting his $7,000 contract and how exiting it was to get paid to play football. He talked about getting injured in tranning camp and never beeing able to play a down in the NFL. Thats when he became interested in Coaching, Latter on he was the LB coach for the Raiders, and spoke on how exited he was to coach agains his idol Vince Lambardi in the Super Bowl. Then two years latter the head coach of the raiders left and he saw his chance to go speak with Mr. Davis about the vacant job. He told Mr. Davis you are either born to be a head coach or you are not, and I was born to be a head coach. He then told Mr. Davis if i'm not ready now at 32 what makes you think i'll be ready at 50? Mr. Davis agreed with him and named his the raiders next head coach, Then madden went on to coach 10 years never had a loosing season, won 1 Super Bowl, and left the game with the highest winning percentage ever, I belive its 76%. After that he went and took over the broadcasting world. Then EA came to him with the idea of an NFL video game, Madden is a hands on guy, every play used in madden has been aproved by him, the use of X's and O's was his suggestion, he wanted to make the game are ralistic as possible, he even learned to play the game so he could feel what the fans would feel like. Now he is going to be at home tending to his family, well now he can work on training those 5 grandsons of his and making them into solid Offensive Line Men. Thanks for the memories Madden, it was a plesure to listening to your comantating on game day.

There has been a lot of speculation lately that the Seattle Seahawks could possibly take a quarterback in this year's draft. In the past two years Matt Hasselback has been hurting with back problems. When your back is a problem, your future in a contact sport becomes a problem.
Hasselback was questioned about the Seahawks possibly taking a quarterback in the draft and he responded, "They can do whatever they want to do. I mean, you could do that, that’s your prerogative. It won’t change anything I do. I’m getting ready to play football this year. I am going to play football this year. I’m not concerned at all (about my back). It’s always been a joke for me. I don’t feel good about first rounders because I was a sixth-round pick. I don’t watch the draft on Saturday. I watch the draft on Sunday.”Will Matt Hasselback come back and take the league by storm like he did a few years back? Will he go out with a hard hit to his back? Will the Seattle Seahawks draft a quarterback? We'll find out soon enough. I don't think the Seahawks should grab a QB in the draft unless it is in the late rounds. Hasselback will be fine this year.

Yahoo! Sports:
"The New York Giants released Super Bowl hero Plaxico Burress on Friday, a little more than four months after the talented but troubled wide receiver accidentally shot himself in the thigh in a New York City nightclub."If Plaxico can get out of his legal troubles, there are a lot of teams that could use a top wide receiver. Teams with a set quarterback that could use Burress are the Bears, Eagles, Raiders, Seahawks, Dolphins, Ravens, and Titans. I could easily see Plaxico as a Raider, Bear, or Raven the most. This post is open for discussion.
Posted by Jakeness April 2, 2009 To me Aaron Curry of Wake Forest is the best all around defensive player in this draft. He has a huge upside to become one of the top linebackers in the NFL. If he ends up being drafted by an NFC team i see him right on the top with Jon Beason and Patrick Willis. His 4.56 40 speed at the combine(the fastest LB)proves he is in another athletic level. The hard hitting all american was recognize with the 2008 Butkus Award(NCAA top LB). I seriously believe Aaron Curry will make an impact on the first day he steps foot in to the NFL, thats why I see him going in the top 3. Good luck to Aaron Curry and congrats to the team that grabs this beast.I will be back in a few days with my next top prospect.

I just finish reading a story about the new Madden game coming out this year in August. It is title Madden 2010 Wish list and it contains some problems with the previous maddens and what needs to be upgraded or changed in the game. To me so many things need to be changed in the Madden games from the uniforms to the contracts and emotions of the players. I agree with all these changes that are in the story like the draft days, to have a combine, and when a player does so good like a comeback's rating 79 and gets 10 interceptions or a quarterback that has a rating of 80 and throws for 4500 yards and 30 tds, his rating should go up, not down or stay the same. There is so much that needs to be changed and i sure hope ea sports reads any of the request so they can make a better madden game. Read the story if you love the Madden games and want it to be a better game.
